    I know your main issue right now is dealing with the hospital but I have a suggestion for your regular prescriptions.

    I don't have insurance either and was paying about $120 a month at Walgreens and that's WITH their prescription club. I checked Costco when the prescription club stopped giving a discount on one of my scripts. My costs went down to under $40 a month (though now I've got another additional script that increases that to a little over $50.)

    You have to pay for the Costo membership but depending on what you're taking, the savings will pay for that in short order. You should at least call to check how it would affect your particular medications. I hope it helps.

    We do a terrible job in this country keeping people out of crisis. We may have the best health care in the world but what the hell good is that when more and more people have no access to it or, if they do, it leaves them bankrupt.
