    Personally, I opposed both interventions, as nothing substantial was at stake in either country.

    I am comforted, however, by drone technology.

    The US can allocate its heavy defense resources in Southeast Asia, where they are needed to ensure the viability of shipping lanes.

    And use drones in the Middle East.

      I started a few different replies, but I can't get enough of a handle on whatever your point might be to do so cogently.

      You allege the Obama Admin is "very similar" to the Bush Admin wrt foreign policy, yet somehow you're "comforted" by the use of drones to further those common goals (as opposed to, I guess, full-scale invasion?). Uh, okay....

        What are the major foreign policy goals that are different between the Obama and bush administrations?

        Not counting Start and nuclear nonproliferation, because Obama has obviously taken that issue seriously, and done well.

        If debt were a moral issue then, lacking morals, corporations could never be in debt.
