      And the movie version of "Beer in Hell" was beyond bad, as opposed to the book, which is well written but a really sleazy guilty pleasure.

        seem that similar to the actual book since the names were different (I thought Slingblade and El Bingoroso were what they were called) and its like he incorporated different elements of all the bachelor parties he's been to in one night.

          when you try to create a narrative out of what isn't a narrative to start with.

          And it usually doesn't work.
