  •  Thank you so much, SF. I've been hoping that (6+ / 0-)

you would produce another of your wonderful 'woozle' diaries!

I would love to upload a picture of my childhood dog, Lucky, who 'looked like' a Corgi (more than any other breed, anyway).  But I'm not at home, and don't have her picture with me.

Lucky was a beautiful fawn color--always on every Christmas card picture with my sibling and me, throughout our childhoods.

I finally asked my Mom as an adult (I certainly didn't recall) if Lucky was posed--'of course not,' was the answer.

She didn't need to be--she was  always there!

Lucky was so compliant that she even allowed me to put her in my doll stroller and take walks with her.  And I mean lying down on her back, more or less!

So thanks again, SF, for the lovely diary that brought back many wonderful memories of 'Lucky.'  As well as the very interesting and informative narrative about the Corgi breed.  ;-)

...you, Mollie! I promise I shall keep putting out the breed diaries, from time to time. Somewhere in the list of breeds to come there are Smooth-haired Fox Terrier, Pug, Old English Sheepdog, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Basset Hound and more.

I look forward to seeing a photograph of Lucky, when you can send one along, as I am sure she was an exceptional friend.

      Be well, dear lady

      Cheers!
