    bottom line hard enough. But it will. And then the tune will change.
    I think this might even be part of that shift.
    Changing the GOP/1% juggernaut's direction takes a bit of work and time. But when you see things like this, or like Rove's recent mewlings or like the GOP's inhouse report that it needs to change it's "messaging", you can kinda feel the Big Money pressing down on them.
    Austerity turns out to be bad for the bottom line, Government spending is a significant portion of the economy and a major driver with many private sector multipliers. 10% across the board cut means a solid cut in the entire economy.
    But the GOP is trapped by their idiot base, of which, Bachman is a self-styled "leader". Boner and Cantor (heard much from him recently?) can't move the process with their base still rah rah for cuts.
    So now, the delicate process of shifting the base via it's putative leaders.
    Good luck with that.
