Basically a 'pic which fits and share it' thing.

So... there was a bi one, and gay, and lesbian, and trans, and one just for straight allies.

So, um, if you're in the closet and need to stay that way to anyone on your friends list, no can do even if you are fully out of the 'ally closet' to everyone, because there is no 'I support marriage equality and my orientation is none of your business' option.

And if you're like me... there was no option. According to HRC, I don't exist. And my boyfriend doesn't exist. And one of our friends wouldn't exist if zie wasn't trans. And I can't be out on Facebook as asexual outside very specific person-to-person message threads because there are people from high school who cannot know.

So I have my usual icon, and a friending spree of old friends long separated who are using the icon or liking the announcements when others start to use them, and then a messaging spree of quietly coming out as an ally one person at a time.

Prayers and best wishes to those in Japan.
