    why this POV would get bashed; after all, you're presenting a kill or be killed false choice. You're practically saying that you would break the law out of some pretense that it's rendering you defenseless, a pretense which is not true.

    I would rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6.
    Unless you can't pass a background check, none of the President's proposals are going to render you defenseless.

    We demanded a plan to reduce gun violence. Now it's time to demand a vote.

      But my argument remains that's it isn't the presidents, congress or yours for that matter job to tell me what I can or can't have to protect myself.
      And you take a statement, and transform it out of context. As usual, I see it everytime. That is a statement made that if I had to defend myself I would rather have a jury say I was right, then be killed because you say I cannot.
      And yes te argument SCOTUS said there are limits to each of the amendments, but the entire constitution limits the federal government. That's it's job to limit the Feds not us.
      This argument needs to stop, you aren't going to even try to see the 2A for what it says. And I understand that, I don't want to argue, I will educate not argue. Have a good day
