  •  The Third Largest Industry (0+ / 0-)

Illicit drugs are estimated to be the third largest industry in the world after agriculture and energy.  Currently trillions of dollars, it is rumored to involve the CIA, the airlines, the military and the oil service companies like Halliburton.  Virtually all of the retail transactions are in cash, folding money which is washed by major banks.

With all of these players getting a cut of the action, doesn't it make sense that the current $1billion Bitcoin capitalization with its anonymity, speed and lack of transaction fees would be supportable?  And doesn't it also make sense that these large players would lobby our government intensively to try to limit the growth of Bitcoin?
