  •  I hope that Santorum's nastiness does not (16+ / 0-)

beat out Inhofe's considerably more dangerous and influential malice just because he's a more familiar name to some.  It's gotta be Inhofe in this awful contest.

    •  not looking good so far (9+ / 0-)

Santorum is blinding people with his shallow, easy to pick on craziness. It helps to have a frothy mix named after you, though it's a bit of a cheap marketing gimmick on his part, if you ask me. Basically, Santorum is all hat and no cattle, or whatever analogy would work best in that dude's case. Inhofe is more like Voldemort, ugly and a bit invisible, but capable of blowing up the whole damn planet from his bunker. Santorum may be crazy, but Inhofe is the definition of MAD.

      •  Maybe a few intrepid voters will read the (7+ / 0-)

comments before casting their vote.  Rick Santorum is not crazy - he's just et up with religion, as my grandmother used to say.  Too much fervor for his own good.  He's not going to convince anyone to take up his views who doesn't already share them.

Inhofe is dangerous.  A lot of people are still confused about what to believe about climate change, and non-scientific types are easy to convince that nothing's happening and humans aren't causing whatever's not happening anyway.

Inhofe's views on other subjects are just as deranged, but he is accepted by the media as half-way sane.
        He isn't.
