seems to me that you miss the whole point of the observance of Holy Week, as I understand it.  It is a time to reflect on death and resurrection, on what it means to believe that Jesus died and was crucified for our sins, on the burden that we carry around with us that prevents us from understanding God's presence in our lives, even on  the need to understand what organized religion can do to individuals in society, a time to go outside our comfort zones. To get to the resurrection, we have to go through the betrayal of Maundy Thursday, the death of Good Friday, the hopelessness of Saturday before the joy of the New Morning.

Asking others to conform to our comfort zones seems counter-productive to this practicing Protestant.

Peace and may you find joy in the morning.

      With respect, I don't think that's what I did.

Jesus had quite a bit to say about that kind of judgment.
