    takes it's election techniques and shares it with House Dems. I could see this working in a number of the really badly gerrymandered districts in the MidWest, where a surprise large Democratic turnout could flip a number of seats.

    Long term of course our best chances are to get Latinos in Texas  voting at the same rate they do in California, and to get more anti-gerrymandering legislation (like the kind passed in California, Arizona, and to a lesser extent Florida) passed in Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin. All these states have initiatives processes and it's simply been a real failure of liberal leadership that they haven't gotten big liberal donors to support efforts like this in these states. A fair redistricting of Ohio, Wisconsin, and Michigan would easily net a 6-9 seat pickup.
