Democrats runs through More Democrats actually voting, which means more of us doing GOTV now, and not waiting until campaign season.

It also means listening to potential voters more. Do you engage with students, or union members, or those unable to join unions, or LGBTs, or women, or any of the other victims of the Republican War on Everybody? Can you make the connection between them and the Progressives who are trying to help, regardless of what Democrats might think they are trying to do? Can you demonstrate to them the difference between a helpless single voter and a voter engaged in the various movements that will make a difference?

with either party; near half of both party's self-identifieds have said they wish they had somewhere else to go.

So 3/4s, more or less, don't give a rat's ass about Parties. They do, however, care about Jobs and the Safety Net. And of the 42% who don't vote, I'd guess 36 of them would favor whichever party represented what we need, and five or six could actually vote.

Forget Parties, focus on America's well-being. Then Dems win.

If Republicans said every 3rd person named "Smith" should hang, we'd bargain them to every 7th. Then we'll see apologia written praising this most pragmatic compromise. There's our losing formula.
