  •  You're wrong (0+ / 0-)

He's not the main show he's a vein in the mine.

Most of you gun controllers are from the northeast, cali, chicago etc. You have NO idea how much this gun control pitch has  pissed off non-urbanites. Seriously... it's shocking.

I'm strongly against gun control as are nearly all my friends. But ive never heard such open rabid anger by good people since the president started talkign about using executive orders to institute more gun control. Im talking normal, nice people who are to the point of talking about taking up arms.

These are NOT extreme right wing nutjobs who hate everything. I had to tell my brother in law (nicest guy i know period and i cant imagine my sister picking a better guy to marry) that if he and his buddies ever took up arms against the government i'd be the one putting a bullet in their brains.

I'm shocked at how seethingly angry so many people are. And this is all political theatre as usual by obama reaching out to one of the fringe interest groups. In doing so he just lost us North carolina and god knows how many other states. It was purely political, pure self interest and purely stupid.

    •  Well (0+ / 0-)

As you are personal friend to 315,000,00 Americans, your personal anecdotes certainly are irrefutable.

    •  Oh yeah? (0+ / 0-)

"These are NOT extreme right wing nutjobs who hate everything."

      They are now.

"And this is all political theatre as usual by obama reaching out to one of the fringe interest groups."

Victims of one of the most heinous mass murders in US history are NOT a "fringe interest group."

This may come as a shock, but over 300 million Americans do not belong to the NRA, and a healthy chunk of that percentage think that the likes of LaPierre and Pratt are psychotic goons who profit wildly by scaring gullible people.
