  •  He Never Should Have Been the Candidate (none)
Kerry seemd to presume that he should be the Demo Party's candidate in '04, having been annointed by the MSM even before the first vote was cast.  He managed to rally very well, early on, and then had a cakewalk to the nomination.  He was an exciting, rousing, give-America-a-reason-to-vote-for-me candidate only when he was behind. He seemd to lose this 'fire in the belly' early on and was never seriously challenged.

He never should have been the candidate.  The campaign was run very poorly, lacked the discipline of the "they have no shame" Republicans (great line from HRC), and was too uptight (in an upper crust New England kind of way) to connect to people.  Given a choice between someone who is uptight/reserved (read JK, GBI), the American people always seem to choose the fella who seems like he can relate to you (read BC, GWB).

Let's hope that the Dems don't make that same mistake in '08 (read Mr. Lieberman).

Well, after this, I should think nothing of falling down stairs.

    •  I'm not sure what MSM you're watching (3.40)
they seemed to think that Dean was a the shoe-in to me.  They pretty much left Kerry for dead until Iowa as I recall.

Yeah? At least YOUR Congressional District has elected a Democrat sometime in the last 124 years. (TN-1)

      •  you must not have tuned in before... (none)
Dean rose to the top. Before that, it was all Kerry and Lieberman (simply by virtue of the fact that he was the VP to Gore in 2000).
