    I have no problems with ice cream, frozen yogurt, etc. I also like the whipped yogurt that is like mousse but that's not the good active culture stuff.

      Seems like when I was a teen, a dr. recommended buttermilk for me for problems such as you are having.  I just could not drink it.  I then got it in pill form, and the problem cleared up.
      Maybe a health food store might have the pills.
      Anyway, it was just a thought.  Hope you get better soon.

      That's probably part of the reason freezing the yogurt helps, but in my case I prefer the mouth feel of the frozen yogurt.

      Keep in mind that I'm talking about freezing regular yogurt so you have a lot of choices. Just pop it in the freezer and take it out the next day.

      The only trouble with retirement is...I never get a day off!
