    •  Hypocracy versus Hypocrisy (none)
      I would think that "hypocracy" should mean "rule by hypocrites".  Since that is indeed what we have in Washington -- on both sides of the aisle, alas --  I don't see anything wrong with the spelling.

        Is this the down from upper parts of a duck?

        Hypocrat: a ruler who promised to avoid doing harm (as in Hypocratic oath), but, being a hypocrite, he lied.

        Alternative meaning: ruler who resorts to hype in an unusual degree, as in "the most lethal substances known to mankind" used to describe the active ingredient of castor oil in a way justifying a military invasion.
