    I thought Passover started earlier this week. I would have liked to see Google recognized this special time for the Jewish people.  But Google does seem to go out of their way to be secular. They post whimsies on other days, like Valentines Day and St. Patrick's Day. But not too long ago, for instance, they posted just a polar bear on Christmas Day.

      but they aren't Christians so I don't expect them to recognize Xian holidays

        that they've made a conscious decision to be secular. It was just more noticeable yesterday. I still would have liked to see them put a couple of Easter lilies or spring flowers around the icon of Chavez.
