    I've T&R'd, but I think you should define what you mean with that, for the sake of us lesser informed readers. If your intent is to "inform", well, fer chrissakes, INFORM.

    And thanks for the heads up. Calling my legislators tomorrow about the piffle tubes.

      I would use the word kill, but I use the word "salvage" because that's what the state and federal governments use. As I pointed out in the article, take the "salvage" number - nobody really knows what that term means - and multiple it 5 to 10 times and you're get the number that are actually killed.  You're asking me for a definition that really doesn't exist - it's only a term that the government uses to describe dumping fish (mostly dead) back into the Delta after they're collected at the pumps.
