  •  And so what's stopping a protest in D.C.? (0+ / 0-)

It seems most people who express disappointment in Obama, at least those progressives, are interested in posting blogs rather than mounting protests in Washington D.C. demanding action be taken.

I'm progressive myself and I know that President Obama is still cleaning up President Bush's mess so I'm not disappointed.  What would really disappoint me is if the progressive base sits out and doesn't vote in November 2014 and that in turn means a vote for more GOP in Congress to make things harder for Obama in the remainder of his presidency

It would be a lot easier for Obama if the Democratic Party did not lose control of the House in November 2010.  Sadly, Obama is still facing one heck of a plate:  Gun control, immigration, North Korea, Israel and the Middle East, Iran, global warming (probably the most important issue right now), ending the war in Afghanistan, continuing to re-build the economy (which by the way is growing).

I suggest if progressives who are disappointed in Obama's handling of the Wall Street issue are really interested in being productive, they should contact Elizabeth Warren.
