    And I will be so happy when that happens, as it will indeed happen eventually. But I just don't know if eventually means 4 years, 8 years, 12 years, or 20 years (or more). And when they finally do lose power, instead of moderating their policies and voices to try to win over more voters and regain power I expect that their rhetoric will be ratcheted up even higher than the outrageous level we're hearing today. I eagerly look forward to (and am working toward) the death throes (or "flurry" as Melville so graphically describes the death throes of a whale in Chapter 61 of "Moby Dick") of the Republican Party in Texas.

      in the streets when we can purge the Republicans out of the majority.    Let's make it happen in 4.  8-12-20 years more of R policies would make this place one of the most miserable places to live.
