    •  Thank you, HB III - (18+ / 0-)

I feel very strongly about the subject of bringing all of the Bushistas to justice..., every one of them.

If Obama does not backtrack and get the illegal and unconstitutional legislation repealed (he voted for one of those bills: FISA fiasco '08, which caused a furor here on DK; three days later he announced that if he were elected he'd expand and add more funding for Dumbya's unconstitutional 'office of faith-based iniatives' - that was a very sad week for me), then I would be in favor of him being tried as an accessory after the fact for some of those crimes, plus the drone bombing which started the weekend after he took the first oath of office before he'd even completed a full week in office.

I do not favor a 'truth and reconciliation' panel.  We need resolution and closure for the horrors the Bushistas, and now Obama & his DoJ and Congresses, have put us through.  That means trials, convictions, jail sentences..., no "deals."  That keeps us out of the "legal limbo" of allowing criminals to roam free without being held answerable for their lies and war crimes.

They are NOT "too big to jail" - nor are the banksters or corporate crooks....

I wrote to my congresswoman years ago and told her she was in danger of being tried under Geneva Convention for approving torture.  She wrote back and told me that she had been assured by legal experts that it was OK.

I hope she gets a chance to sit in a cell and reflect at length on what she voted for.  By the way, she advertises herself as a staunch Christian.

Bush hijacked the US with lies about 9/11 and crashed it into Iraq, killing over 500,000 human beings. So far, he's avoided arrest and prosecution.

The fiercest advocates for illegal and unconstitutional wars are the most radical Xians....
