How good is your concentration; can you simply shut out unwanted distractions, or do they drive you to distraction?  How susceptible are you to the lure of shiny objects? What kind of shiny objects (it doesn't really have to shine - it could be that new book you got in the mail) is your favorite? What is your favorite holiday and why?
    1.  Depends what I'm doing.  Reading or writing, it's lousy.  Noise is the distraction that most distracts.  Other tasks, I'm fine.
    2.  Moderately.
    3.  Antique (mostly wooden) Japanese items; books, books, and books.
    4.  Christmas!  This secular Jew loves Christmas.  ;)  Other than that, this atheist Jew loves Passover, for its social/historical content (also my family reads from politically um... attuned haggadahs).

    G'morning, Bombers!

are kittens chasing after actual shiny objects. They are sooooo distracting!

I used to be able to read and either watch TV or listen to music at the same time, but now it is no longer possible. I can listen to music if it's instrumental and still read, but vocals intrude (often making me want to listen to the song instead).

When I'm searching for hoverable pics with the TV on, I will totally tune out the TV and then have to rewind to find out what big thing I just missed.
