    It's possible to completely buy into the religious right's meme that same sex sex is wrong, but still favor same sex marriage on 14th Amendment grounds.
      Repealing DOMA is a state's rights and full faith and credit issue.
      In general, religious beliefs should not be imposed on people who don't share them.

      Same-gender sex is prohibited by my religion.  Therefore, I will not engage in it.

      I nonetheless wholeheartedly support legalization of same-gender marriage, because my religion should not have any bearing on United States law or on anyone else's choices.

      Note that I do not believe that "prohibited by my religion" necessarily equates to "morally wrong."  If I did, I'd have to picket Red Lobster.
