  •  Curious: Why is Lynch even running? (0+ / 0-)

What (who's) interest does it serve?

    This machine kills fascists!

building in DC and seem to have shared the same sign printers.  I have a feeling they share the same lobbyists, too.

He's been in the house for a while.  Can't blame him for wanting to move up.

What I'm not clear on is why people would vote for him over Markey.   Pro-life democrats?  He's pretending to be pro-choice now.  Union workers?  He has roots in organized labor, I'll give him that, but Markey's no enemy of the common worker and Lynch when the chips are down isn't a reliable vote to help the working class.  Glad to see him getting blown out at the moment, and I hope it holds.

especially among the building trades, carpenters, pipefitters, ironworkers. Lynch was one of them, and they're going to turn out in support of him.

And while I like the poll numbers a lot, nobody can take this race for granted.  Lynch's people are going to vote.  Markey needs to make a real effort to make sure his people do.
