    Not unlike naming your Car Wash "Krystal Klean Kar Wash" ...  the idea being that more people can be counted on to give their business based on the politics than can be expected to withhold it.

    It stopped being true for the Klan in the late 60s.

    The NRA's day is coming too.

        were solid, law abiding, responsible Citizens ...

        "More mouth than muscle" if you know what I mean.  Backward. Not really evil.

        And much the same of the NRA zealots I've shared ranges and deer camps with.

        They really don't mean no harm to anybody, really.

         They just want their Manhood and Their Rights, on their own terms,  in their own time.

        Of course, that's the Rank and File.

        The Leadership?   Probably it's all about the Freedom of Markets and the Right People getting elected.

        (Not unlike their Klan counterparts back in the day, come-to-think.)
