      ...that he's implicitly admitting both that we're right on this issue, and that they'll inevitably have to adopt the same stance eventually...  the only question being when, and how hard their base will fight against it?
      I suspect he is, though his voters clearly are not.

      Yes, Dems were the slavers.
      Yes, Dems were the KKK members (in the South, the Midwest (e.g. 1920s Indianapolis KKK HQ)...not so much).
      Yes, Dems Byrd and Gore Sr. opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964.  (Both said since that they were wrong and regretful.)

      We were wrong then and have since changed our personal and our Party's positions...so, why don't Republican'ts do it now?
