  •  Very nice diary (11+ / 0-)

I gave a dime one time to a migrant worker at a grocery store who was short and the cashier was extremely rude and mean.
I'll never forget the look on his face when the dime appeared in front of him.
To say he was shocked would be putting it mildly.

I help people, usually older, when they ask where something might be at grocery stores and walk with them to find it.
I listen to lonely people when they talk to me.
I let people ahead of me in grocery stores when they have less than I do at the check-out.
I try to be nice whenever I can, most times by simply smiling.

I've also been helped by the kindness of strangers doing the things I've mentioned above.
People have gone out of their way to help my husband and me when we get lost in our travels and we get lost a lot.
I think one of the most memorable times when we bought a new mattress and box spring and were driving home.
It was raining and we were on a regular street and it wasn't busy.
The mattress flew out the back of the pickup - who would imagine that? And I remember my husband and I freaking out, because someone could've been hurt, but we were lucky and no one was behind us.
The mattress was wrapped quite well in plastic and that was a good thing because it landed in a mud puddle.
Out of the blue, a car pulled up and stopped and an older man rushed out and helped my husband get the mattress back in the back of the pickup and secure it better.
We always referred to him as a Christmas Angel since it was that time of year.

    thats nice cat

I hope your daughter's knee heals quickly and is something simple.
