    How many lynchings, house burnings, beatings, humiliations, etc., since 1865, of people they don't like and believe to be inferior or not genuinely American?

    I'd say that they're just taking it to a new, more active level, likely due to the combination of Obama being president, the economic downturn and the rise in support for gun control since this wave of mass shootings began several years ago and especially Newtown. Plus Waco, Ruby Ridge, McVeigh, etc.

    They've reached a boiling point and are acting out, with tragic consequences.

    But they've always been fighting the Third Battle of Manassas.

      So even without the "little" matter of U.S. history, they don't tend to like people who stand up against them or look different.
