    Every few months the "Check Engine" light would come on for some sensor or other and I'd end up writing a $500 check to somebody to fix it.

    I usually planned on spending $500 every time I walked into the repair shop.

    If the pilot's good, see, I mean if he's reeeally sharp, he can barrel that baby in so low... oh you oughta see it sometime. It's a sight. A big plane like a '52... varrrooom! Its jet exhaust... frying chickens in the barnyard!

      A relative of mine owned a V12 as well. Felt the same affection for her vehicle despite the ... endearing eccentricities. Even named the car, but the name escapes me at the moment.
