    to be concerned. Single-point failures that trigger cascades is another. That has happened more than once - and entirely OFF the projection scenarios - still waiting to be addressed. NRC asks the permission of the industry these days, it doesn't actually ORDER any new retrofit requirements. Honest.

    And that is entirely, completely, ultimately unacceptable. Which is why they don't let us know much about what's going on.

      issues like......whether emergency generator systems (including fuel tanks) ought to be hardened against physical attack using military methods as a required risk reduction method through enactment of an NRC rule requirement ......since that vulnerability together with offsite power connection capability vulnerability might be the weakest link in nuclear plant security.
