      In Michigan, I have seen time and again where a license can be suspended immediately while an investigation is going on, then converted to whatever penalty is deemed appropriate later. As a side note I remember this particular dentist when he was doing his residency in Detroit back in the 70s. No major recollection, I was an orderly, so we travelled in different circles,still kind of weird to see someone you knew apparently turn out to be so dangerous and cavalier.
