    they are eligible to vote in whichever primary they choose, and some do. My neighbor, who tends moderately conservative, is unenrolled and never misses a primary. As someone pointed out below, more conservative registered Dems is another area where Lynch is hoping to score some votes.

    Agree with the signs, etc., up to a point. I'd like to see them (as my wife said, it would reassuring) and the Lynch signs everywhere might give some people the sense that he's the favorite.

    But the pros have crunched the numbers and found signs everywhere is not the best deployment of resources. I don't imagine many people who'd vote Lynch just because they saw his name on more signs. If they're that out of the loop they're more likely to stay home.
