    Hear me and weep.  Hear me and rejoice.  The outcome depends on my ability to explain the prince.  If he marries a true companion all will be well, if he does not, there will be war.
    It really grabs you and pulls you right into the story.

    I liked #3, too.

    BTW, I seem to recall David Hartwell saying at one point that it takes about ten years of practice for a writer to become really polished (and publishable).  So you're right on schedule!
