  •  Reason is a malicious tactic? (0+ / 0-)

I hope it's not nearly as malicious as dozens and dozens of rounds of .223 fired into the little bodies of six year old children at 3000 feet per second from near point blank range.

I see you have to need to adopt the role of victim, and I will agree that you are.

    •  You weren't looking for reason (0+ / 0-)

You were trying to create a discussion trap.

Lanza's actions were terrorism which has nothing do to with lawful carry.  Taking away people's liberties because of the actions of terrorists never leads to a good end.  Even if some try to claim it is for the children.

      •  "Liberty" to commit horrific slaughter? (0+ / 0-)

"Taking away people's liberties because of the actions of terrorists never leads to a good end."

        NRA slogan?

Good thing no one took away Lanza's liberties though, eh?  That would have been awful! Best I can tell, according to the NRA and others, he was NOT a terrorist, he was just exercising his 'second amendment rights'... right up until he entered school property with several loaded weapons and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.  Calling him a "terrorist" before then would make him a victim, just like you complain about.

Unfortunately Wayne LaPiere and the ghost of Charlton Heston and Dick Cheney were NOT there, guns drawn, ready to valiantly kill the (suddenly NOT covered by the 2nd amendment) crazed killer/terrorist.

You weren't there either, were you?  Doesn't mean you can't argue for Lanza's rights to be where he was, armed as he was, insane as he was, about to commit the horror that he did.

        •  Lanza's actions are not protected under the 2nd (0+ / 0-)

or any other amendment for that matter.  Lanza was psychotic.

I do not condone infringing on the rights of citizens just because your having a fear based emotional hijacking over his actions.
