There is only two ways we can influence Congress:

    Bribe them or punish them.

Our mistake was thinking that, "Oh, we'll vote for these Democrats and they will be so grateful to us that they will change Washington for the better!"

    Uh, no.

We can either give them, their wives, their cronies and the kids cash money -- or a proxy -- or we can savagely punish them for not doing what we want.

We're going to get quite old and pass from the earth before this debt of gratitude is paid.

Since, as individuals, we don't have enough money to bribe a Congressman, all we can really do is threaten to withhold our votes and to stir discontent with them in our networks. And, then hold through to the threat.

We must stop voting for politicians who are working against us.

"I'll believe that corporations are people when I see Rick Perry execute one."

Some of us have pushed back against that "surround the dems with love and encouragement-approach" for years. They are politicians, it's our moral responsibility to keep them under control or they drift.

We are paying a steep price for that nonsense now.
You can't just let a major political party in America "do their thang."
