We demanded a plan to reduce gun violence. Now it's time to demand a vote.

    •  from the same "I'll call you in the morning" (4+ / 0-)

you need to read the Gun Fail diaries more often, for conjecture as to motivation and comments made.

      •  So its just made up ? (0+ / 0-)

No one but you said it ?

Now why would you want to spin it that way ?
I can see why a right winger would do it ,
        but why would you ?

Are you trying to darken MAIG because of that persons failure ?
Are you trying to prove MAIG is wrong or bad because of that persons failure ?

I guess that if you applied that same sort of "thinking" to gun owners , the failure of one proves something about them all , some gun owners might be less than pleased . Are you willing to toss all gun owners under the bus because this person is a royal screw up with his guns ?

        •  Don't we do the exact same thing with the NRA? (7+ / 0-)

Every single person who does something in-error, totally boneheaded, or just plain numb - is the "typical" NRA member.

3 million tea-bagging shitheads like THIS guy.
That's on matters that don't rise to criminal offenses.
So why should MAIG be teflon-coated?  Certainly Bloomberg is.

He's a shithead for how he continues Stop-and-Frisk, a shithead for how #Occupy was treated; and none of that matters as he offered to contribute cash to the Equality Maine marriage initiative (should grassroots donations hit a certain plateau), and of course... (drumroll) MAIG.

Odd that when it comes to gun advocacy:
          a lifetime of good works can be flushed for being pro-gun;
a lifetime of screwing-over the poor and non-white can be forgiven, as-long-as you're vocal about being anti-gun.
No ifs, no buts, get rid of them all = 100% teh awesome, nothing else matters.

          •  There has been a ton of writing here about (7+ / 0-)

... stop-and-frisk. I don't think many folks here view Bloomberg in 100% positive light. I'd say that some are happy to finally see some money finally being applied to sensible gun regulation advocacy to counter the massive spending and influence of the NRA and its gun manufacturer backers.

Suggested liberal gun lovers' motto: "More liberal than the NRA on everything except guns."
