  •  Complete lack of political experience. (0+ / 0-)

As much as I'm a fan of the Clintons, and wouldn't at all mind seeing Chelsea Clinton in some political office or another, President or VP is NOT an office you try to jump into without any prior experience in public office at all.

It doesn't work out well, as a rule. I don't think she'd know how to campaign fulltime (her only experience campaigning has been on Hillary's behalf as a part-time surrogate in 2008), and I'm not sure she'd be ready to govern - and the VP has to be ready, in case something happens to the President.

Not to mention the personal narrative of a woman who lives in a $10 million house in Madison Square (NYC) which was probably bought (or at least subsidised) by her parents - not terribly great in a conversation which SHOULD be at least  partly about income disparities and opportunities.

Generally a rather bad idea. Now, if there's a House seat available, or even a shot at the Lt.-Governor's spot in New York, that might be a better start.
