  •  trying to take us back to the gilded age of the (15+ / 0-)

robber barons, since we have right now the gilded age of gangster bankers.

Between then and now, unions, help with college so people could get an education to get ahead, programs to help people buy homes without 30 to 50% down payment.

We created a society between then and now so that we all could get ahead, get an education, get a job with union benefits and fair wages, buy a home, live the good life, be a part of that now elusive American Dream.

But now if we let them win, continue to let the Wall st gangers rule the government, life would become like my depression age born (1921) mother who talked of how people feared being sent to the poor house.

Before there were any social safety nets in this country, life was grim. We will not go back to those days.

We have to fight with all we've got to get our government working for the 99%, who currently have few in DC working for them.

We have a lot of work to do.
