You're talking to a bona fide local my friend (going way back...name on a street and everything).  :-D

My grandparents & three sets of aunts, uncles & cousins lived there, and so did I for a while after college (on Rogers Rd., and later on Government St.). My first job was at the Weathervane (back when it was a glorified clam shack across from the KTP), but Chauncey Creek is still my fave for no-frills lobster. We used to go there as kids. I remember one time the sand fleas from Fort Foster had bitten me so badly I couldn't concentrate on dinner.

I went to school in the town next door, and have worked in various seacoast spots (as far north as Wells, as far south as Portsmouth), though I was in Boston a long time (16 years). I still ♥ Kittery.
