Does each county have a delegation or is it co-mingled freely?

sends 6 men and 6 women to be delegates for two years. A district representative to the party's executive board is also elected at the same time. The last delegate elections were held back in January, so the next ones are in January 2015. Other people can also attend and mingle on the convention floor, in hospitality suites (with the occasional open bar), in caucuses, and many other fundraisers, luncheons, and events.

Pretty much the only difference between a delegate and a non-delegate is the ability to vote on the convention floor. This includes the platform, endorsements, and so forth.

Looking forward to the California Young Democrats meeting on Saturday afternoon. Let's see if it will devolve into a shitshow like it happened last year.
