    and that's just what I can think of, off the top of my head. Plenty of precedents for women leaders that came long before Margaret Thatcher.

      as Thatcher and still managed not to dry-screw the average Israeli.

      Thatcher was a trailblazer for Britain. The world was already ahead of her on the female head-of-government thing.

      The last time the Republicans were this radical, they were working to elect former slaves to Congress. What a difference a century and a half makes!

      Don't you find it odd that woman had previously cracked the PM spot in India and Israel long before anyone cracked a large western democracy? Thatcher is still the only one who has done it.
