The Senate will take up a bill "sometime this year" to raise the minimum wage from $7.25 to $10.10, according to a top Senate Democratic aide.
It won't even get a vote. Hell, background checks for firearms enjoy support in the 80 and 90 percent range and McConnell is the fifteenth Republican to say he will join the filibuster. This is Mr. Reid's "gentleman's agreement" in action. Think that even one Republican will vote for cloture on a minimum wage increase? Not even Mrs. Collins.

"Given the choice between a Republican and someone who acts like a Republican, people will vote for a real Republican every time." Harry Truman
