  •  People glad she's dead: (6+ / 0-)

A party in scotland, "The statement said: "Regardless of whether or not it's appropriate to have a party to celebrate someone dying, this event was organised without involvement or consent from the council and we have safety concerns for anyone attending.

"We urge people to stay away."

By around 22:00, the crowd was reported to have dispersed without incident."

"Every move she made was charged by negativity; she destroyed the British manufacturing industry, she hated the miners, she hated the arts, she hated the Irish Freedom Fighters and allowed them to die, she hated the English poor and did nothing at all to help them, she hated Greenpeace and environmental protectionists, she was the only European political leader who opposed a ban on the Ivory Trade, she had no wit and no warmth and even her own Cabinet booted her out. She gave the order to blow up The Belgrano even though it was outside of the Malvinas Exclusion Zone – and was sailing AWAY from the islands! When the young Argentinean boys aboard The Belgrano had suffered a most appalling and unjust death, Thatcher gave the thumbs up sign for the British press."

"I'll dance on your grave Mrs. Thatcher"

    John McCullagh

    "George Square Thatcher Death Party"

    A fine surrealist article:

All this lovingly assembled by some people I know.  Don't shed tears for remorseless supporters of the Khmer Rouge, apartheid, collectors of Argentine blood...

Remember her thumbs up over Argentine graves.  Give her as good as she gave.

    •  I wouldn't say I'm glad she's dead. (4+ / 0-)

But I am glad people are speaking the truth about her.  Not only is it OK, it's fitting and necessary.

Margaret Thatcher was an abominable human being.  Death does nothing to alter that, and in no way alleviates the broad suffering she caused.

Cutting Social Security will end my support for the Democratic Party.
