  •  My own talking point? Did you not read the article (0+ / 0-)

Okay, so the progessives are going to stay angry at obama about putting SS on the "TABLE" and stay home in 2014...

How did they work out the last time?

    Yeah, thats what I thought.

Ask yourself that in terms of following YOUR strategy last time -- ignoring the Left and the populist fervor across the nation.

      THAT's how we lost.

Plan to lose again if you are too proud to learn from that mistake.

What's the point of letting neoliberals into the tent when neoliberalism is burning down the campground?
Since elections will never change the ownership of government, why does our strategy rely entirely upon them?

    •  The nation doesn't want austerity, it doesn't (5+ / 0-)

want to protect Wall Street criminals.

It want's a President who will fight for and protect the Middle Class and the vulnerable.

      He's not offering that.

You're not forcing him to offer that.

The people, they aren't going to be happy.

They don't give a shit what his strategy is.

They don't care if he thinks this is what serious people do.

They want him to serve them, not the Republicans, not the rich.

2014 is on the line. Pass it on.
