  •  MBAs aren't infuriated that programmers are not (5+ / 0-)

    interchangeable.  If someone doesn't work to their satisfaction (i.e., timing and miraculous output from a thousand, limiting dependencies), they just put out another bid - each time successively lower - for replacements.

    Finding lower cost "resources" can often be a win with upper management, regardless of what happens next.  Because the MBA will have moved on by the time the next milestone isn't reached.

    "So, please stay where you are. Don't move and don't panic. Don't take off your shoes! Jobs is on the way."
