      before she was PM:

      Maggie is Margaret Thatcher, the former British Prime Minister. She is mentioned in the second verse of the song Pigs (Three Different Ones). The Pigs represent different people and businessmen, Thatcher being one of those people who are filthy in the eyes of Pink Floyd (much like how pigs are filthy) . Roger Waters, the writer of this song, did not support Thatcher as shown by the lyrics below.
