    towards our new magazine capacity laws. Of course they can simply not enforce it as there is no way to tell when a mag was purchased.

    What's going on in our senate? Can't they even pass NICs for private sales?

      "ban" never come up, they might have had a chance.

      Also, from what I've read, Schumer snuck in some amendments that change how "transfer" is defined. For example, if you leave home for a week, but your unmarried partner or roommate is still there, it's an illegal gun transfer, and you're suddenly both felons. You're a felon if you loan a friend a gun to take hunting or to the range, if you don't come along. You're a felon if you give someone a gun while plinking together on your property (temporary transfers have to happen in your home, or at a commercial range).

      There's some really onerous stuff in it. No wonder people are balking.
