concern people more than it does, is that we lost the redistricting game this decade, and lost it bad.  2010 represented an ugly sweep of state governments for the Republicans and there were very few good things to come our way in terms of redistricting.  California was a rare positive - a Republican ballot initiative designed to protect their winnable districts backfired and gave the Dems more seats rather than fewer seats - bet they're regretting that ballot initiative now, huh?  We've got to try to claw back those states' governments and, in the meanwhile, we absolutely need to hold either the Senate or the Presidency until we can improve on our lot in 2020's redistricting binge.  2020, as a presidential election year, does hold some promise for us in redistricting, as well as by then the census will, it appears, go even further in our favor, unless the GOP makes inroads into the Latino vote.  But in the meanwhile, the road map to a House victory is not an easy one at all.

If "water bottles" was the best they have when it comes to the Latino vote, I am totally and completely unconcerned on that front. :)
