    That was one of the points that was hanging me up.

    Ever since I got interested in fluid flow dynamics - long, long ago - I've had this itch when I see this kind of data - computers or not, my mind starts visually modelling the process and throws up something like bright red question marks when it runs into what it perceives as anomalies.

    So your diary started the modelling process, but I didn't have enough data to let it complete.  I still don't, but I'll be spending some more time with the data to see if I can get any farther.

    Side question - the krill population tends to run to deeper water, correct?  Are we seeing (or can we even measure) potential die-off because the deep water oxygenation is being lowered?

    At least half the future I've been expecting hasn't gotten here yet. Sigh.... (Yes, there's gender bias in my name; no, I wasn't thinking about it when I signed up. My apologies.)
