Clinton who happily fought for and signed DOMA, DADT, financial deregulation, NAFTA, welfare reform, and failed at HCR.

But because of Chained CPI of all things, we'd be better off with President Romney.

Do I need to go into LBJ and Vietnam, JFK and the Bay of Pigs (and Vietnam), Truman and the atomic bombs/terror bombing, FDR and Japanese internment etc etc?

When we stop putting leaders from the past up on pedestals and ignoring their flaws, we can start seeing our present leaders for what they really are.

      •  So did you vote Dole or Bush in 92/96? (0+ / 0-)

Because Clinton was much, much, much worse than Obama. I'm assuming you happily voted for him.

But somehow Obama is just too much.

And I really don't understand why no one gets my FDR/JFK/LBJ point.

But because one person does something bad, doesn't mean it absolves every future politician of an culpability.

I know I know, tough stuff. But if you try really hard, you may be able to understand the point people are making.
